So, here’s a straightforward explanation.

What are ecobub MESHIES?

ecobub MESHIES are reusable silicone breastfeeding nipple shields designed to provide a protective layer between the nipple and baby’s mouth during breastfeeding.

They are made from food-grade silicone and are designed to be soft and flexible during use.

ecobub MESHIES are a medical device listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG No. 474534).

What makes MESHIES different?

One of the features of MESHIES is their flexible, stretch-fit design.

Rather than being a fixed-form shield, the silicone is designed to move and adapt during use. The shield also has a wider brim and perforations around the area where the silicone extends from the breast.

These design features allow the shield to move with the breast during breastfeeding.

MESHIES are supplied as one shield per box - (although there is currently a two for one deal through-out Spring 2026).

What are MESHIES designed for?

ecobub MESHIES are designed for breastfeeding when a protective layer between the nipple and baby’s mouth is required, including when nipples are sore or cracked.

As with any breastfeeding product, they are not intended to replace individual advice from a qualified healthcare professional or breastfeeding specialist where that advice is needed.

What are MESHIES made from?

MESHIES are made from food-grade silicone  and are free from BPA, phthalates and BPS.

The shield is reusable and can be cleaned and disinfected for repeated use.

How do you clean MESHIES?

Before and after each use, MESHIES should be washed gently in warm soapy water and rinsed thoroughly.

When first received, and once a day, the shield should be boiled in water for 5 minutes to disinfect it. Allow it to dry well before storing.
